Our client is a philanthropic non-profit organization (NPO) dedicated to raising public awareness through a variety of campaigns and awareness programs. They actively monitor and analyze public responses to these initiatives in order to assess their effectiveness. This evaluation process helps identify critical focus areas, enabling the organization to continuously improve the impact of their efforts.
As the NPO expanded its outreach across multiple digital platforms, managing and analyzing campaign performance became increasingly complex. Several key challenges stood in the way of effective decision-making and optimization.
One of the major challenges they faced was the fragmentation of their campaigns across multiple platforms, such as social media, search engines, and email marketing tools. This multi-channel approach, while broad in reach, led to complexity in managing and tracking campaign efforts cohesively.
Each platform operated with its own set of metrics, dashboards, and reporting systems. This inconsistency made it extremely difficult to consolidate data or perform a unified analysis of performance across channels, resulting in a lack of clear visibility into overall campaign effectiveness.
Due to the lack of centralized tracking and unified insights, they struggled to determine which campaigns were performing best. As a result, budget allocation decisions were often based on assumptions rather than solid data, limiting their ability to optimize marketing spend effectively
To address the challenges, we developed over 50 Tableau dashboards and 10+ Tableau Prep Flows across various departments within the organization. These solutions enabled the NPO to move away from fragmented reporting and adopt a unified, automated analytics ecosystem.
We proposed and implemented the integration of GA4 data with BigQuery to ensure all key metrics and dimensions are retained in a centralized, scalable environment. This setup enables more advanced analysis, long-term storage, and streamlined reporting by bringing GA4 data together with other business data sources.
Various data sources, including manual inputs and data from Snowflake, are integrated into the BigQuery database using Tableau Prep Flow. This consolidated dataset is then published to the cloud as a single data source, serving as the foundation for all dashboards.
We proposed and implemented Tableau dashboards, hosted on Tableau Cloud, to meet the client’s specific analytical needs. These dashboards were tailored to their requirements and include scheduled extract refreshes, eliminating the need for manual updates. This automation has streamlined their analysis process through customized, impactful visualizations.
